Astris' Mexico City hub
Founded in 2000 by former senior officers at the Inter-American Development Bank, Astris Finance’s roots are solidly in the Latin America region.
We opened our Mexico City office in 2005: Mexico has always been one of Astris' key markets. Our office in Mexico City serves as a hub to cover Central America and the Caribbean.
Our portfolio in Mexico has grown substantially over the last three years positioning Astris as one of the premier Mexico-based advisors. Astris has acted as Financial Advisor to both top tier local and international infrastructure sponsors across a wide variety of infra sub-sectors, including transportation and social infrastructure.
Local teams in sao paulo and bogota
In 2010, we added an office in Colombia from which we cover the Andean countries and in 2013 we added Sao Paulo to our geographic diversity.
All of our staff covering the region are bilingual in Spanish and English – and many also speak Portuguese and/or French. Our team includes nationals from many Latin American countries and everyone based in Paris or Washington has spent time living and working in the region. Our clients value our ability to be global in outlook while retaining our local flavor and strong connections. At Astris, we believe that our strong personal, linguistic and cultural affinity with the region add depth to everything we do.
astris has contributed to the development of the infrastrUcture and energy finance market in latin America
In the last 20 years, we have been active in the principal energy and infrastructure sectors and in all the major South American markets.
Astris has also developed special expertise in the smaller and in some ways more challenging markets in Central America and the Caribbean where we have been very active in the energy and infrastructure sector.
